And here is the "Vampire" cast: Angel, Drusilla, and Spike.

Angel is Spike and Drusilla's Sire. That means that he turned them into vampires. Spike was changed 200 years ago, and Drusilla last century. Angel was an 18 years old young man in Galway in 1753 when he met Darla. He was coming out of a pub, drunk, when he met her in an alley. She turned him into a vampire by sucking his blood and make him drink hers (kinda the same as in Interview with a vampire, but she cut herself with her nail on top of her breasts and not her wrist). Not picture of Darla (she dies in the 7th episode of season 1, called Angel), but remember that Blue bonnet girl in Electric Acid Twister Test? That's her... Darla was The Master's favorite for 400 years. In the present, she liked to dress as a private school girl. Angelus (the one with an angelic face) as a vampire was a "vicious violent animal" (Giles terms), and even the Master (you really don't want to see his ugly face) feared him. From that period of his undead life, Angel said that he killed his family, his family's friends, and their children.

"For a hundred years I offered ugly death to everyone I met, and I did it with a song in my heart" he said to Buffy.

Then he fed on a gypsy girl, a favorite in her clan, and as a revenge, the gypsies gave him back his soul. Because when people are turned into vampires, the demon takes the body, but not the soul. It's gone. So Angel lives with guilt since then. After wandering for a long time, feeding on rats, he met the "neutral" demon Whistler, who brang him to see Buffy the day she learned she was the Slayer (1996). He observed from far away of course. He fell in love (true fact revealed in Helpless) and decide to help her. So in Sunnydale, he appears to Buffy to warn her, then to fight the vampires and demons with her.

We don't know much about Spike, except that he was called William the Bloody, and that he's around 200 years old (Angel being 242 years old). His nickname of Spike comes from the fact that he's known to kill his victims with railroad spikes. If Angel looks sad and dark, Spike is the cool guy, always funny replies... But he's a demon at the core. His only weakness is  his affection for Drusilla, his pet, ducks, poodle, sweetheart, well, his "princess". Spike is in any doubt English. And he killed two slayers.

Drusilla is "the worst thing Angelus ever done as a vile vampire". He met her in1860 in London. she was going to be confessed while Angelus was feeding on the priest (vampires can go into churches, just they can't touch any holy object). Drusilla was a pure girl, but she was afraid because of her visions and predictions, as her mother told her it was evil. Angel says she was "an obsession of mine". He first killed her family and evrybody she loves, then tried "every mean of mental torture on her", then on the day she took the vail, he turned her into a demon. So the girl is slightly insane. she acts like a spoiled deadly child. She has tea with her porcelaine dolls, names the stars all the same when she can't actually see them, and has pets that die of hunger. She's quite a chararcter. She killed the new slayer, Kendra (season 2).
