The complete
original season 2 cast. See Angel (in black), Oz (now I think his hair
is black) and Willow. Standing next to Angel is Buffy in white, and Giles. then you have
Xander and Cordelia.
Rupert Giles
is the librarian of Sunnydale Hight School. He's also a watcher, and he didn't chose that
way of life. He had to follow his father's path. The Watcher trains and help the slayer.
During the show, he becomes more and more a father figure to Buffy. He was working in a
british museum before. And he's english. A quite old fashionned one...
Buffy Summers,
the slayer, arrives at school in Sunnydale. she killes vampires, goes to school, and try
to have a normal life. She lives with her mom, a newly divorced woman working in an art
gallery, who doesn't know her daughter is the slayer. She will learn it at the end of
season 2. So in season 3, she tries to cope with that fact, affraid for her daughter.
Buffy as the slayer has super strenght and resitance in order to fight the vampires.
Xander and Willow
are two students that immediatly befriended Buffy, and found out she's the slayer. They
helps her in slaying, mainly looking for informations in books or on the net. Xander kinda
the boy next door, not the popular guy of the school mainly because of his bad jokes.
Willow is the computer nerd and teacher. After miss Calendar's death, she even teach the
computer class, and then starts to read everything about withcraft. That's how she became
a witch.
Cordelia
is... the snob of the school. The first to meet Buffy in school actually. She's the kind
"every truth is good to tell", and she's obsessed by the way she looks (mainly
the hair), and what people think of her. She will discover that Buffy is the Slayer at the
end of season 1. So she'll sort of be admitted in the "scooby gang" or
"slayerettes". She's also the only one to have a car (useful more than once).
Oz
appears in season 2. He plays the lead guitar in the group "Dingoes ate my
baby". That group plays in the Bronze, the only club where all the young go out in
Sunnydale, and also where the vampires find where to feed. He fells in love with Willow,
but became famous in the female fans assistance for that scene when he says to Willow that
he wants to kiss her, but he won't because she's in love with Xander, and he wants her to
want to kiss him, and that he can wait. He discovers that he's a werewolf because his
cousin bit him once. He's a really cool atitude guy, and he's also a senior in hight
school while the others are junior.
